Third Day - Utah again!
The Race presses on again. Utah's famous Monument Valley presents a dynamic spectacular of rocks. This is one of America's singular icons.
The racers have made few changes. But some changes seem to have begun. The first rider's position in the race changes due to a rest time. As riders begin to take a rest, the non-stop portion of the race will end. Now tricks of strategy become more important: Spy cars run back and forth to check on their competitors and calculate the distance.
Sakurai's team has checked on the average speed of others, and used this and similar information to schedule what they will do up to the finish line. After developing a strategy for the race, it depends on Sakurai whether this plan will be the best or not.
